Bring People Together—Help Make Campaign Events in Oxnard a Success

We’re assembling a team of Community Event Support Volunteers in Oxnard to help elect Jonathan Wagoner for Congress in 2026 by supporting local town halls, meet-and-greets, and community events across the city.

As a volunteer in this role, you’ll help set up and run campaign events that foster meaningful connections between voters and the candidate. Whether it’s greeting guests, helping with check-in, or setting out chairs and signage, you’ll be part of the team that keeps things running smoothly and creates a welcoming experience for everyone.

This is a great way to get involved in local politics, support community outreach, and contribute to campaign events that truly bring people together.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with setup and takedown for town halls, meet-and-greets, and community appearances in Oxnard

• Greet attendees, help with check-in, and direct guests to the right place

• Distribute materials such as flyers, sign-in forms, and campaign information

• Provide general support to the campaign team before, during, and after events

• Help make sure every event feels organized, inclusive, and positive

Who We’re Looking For:

• Oxnard residents who want to get involved in a locally focused, people-first campaign

• Friendly, organized volunteers who enjoy working as part of a team

• People who can commit to occasional evening or weekend events

• Spanish-speaking volunteers are especially encouraged to join

• No experience needed—training and clear guidance will be provided
