Congress Should
Be About Service,
Not Survival.

Career politicians have turned public office into a lifelong job. I’m Jonathan Wagoner, and I’m running for Congress to fight for term limits, fresh leadership, and a government that finally puts the people first.

Why Term Limits Matter

Washington is broken and career politicians are part of the problem. Congress was never meant to be a lifetime job, yet some lawmakers stay in office for decades, growing more disconnected from the people they claim to represent. They chase re-election instead of results, and the system rewards it.

Term limits are a simple, powerful solution to restore trust, reduce corruption, and bring in the kind of leadership that actually reflects real people, not the political elite.

Why It Matters

I’m running because I believe public service should be about purpose, not power. We need a government that’s responsive, not stuck in survival mode.

  • Term limits stop career politicians from building empires off your tax dollars.
  • They break up the cozy relationships between lobbyists and lifelong incumbents.
  • They create space for new voices, new leadership, and fresh ideas.
  • And they encourage elected officials to focus on solving problems—not fundraising for their next campaign.

Across party lines, Americans agree: it’s time for new blood and real accountability.

My Plan of Action in Congress

When I get to Washington, I will make term limits a top priority not just a campaign talking point.

  • Co-Sponsor and Fight for a Term Limits Amendment
Support a constitutional amendment that limits the number of terms members of Congress can serve, just like we already do for the President.
  • Build a Bipartisan Coalition
Work across the aisle with Republicans, Democrats, and Independents who agree that real reform starts with fresh leadership.
  • Expose the Holdouts
Shine a light on those who benefit from the broken system and refuse to put the people first.

This isn’t about right or left. It’s about doing what’s right—and restoring a government that works for the people, not just for itself.

Join Me in Ending Career Politics

The truth is, Washington won’t fix itself. The longer someone stays in office, the more they protect the system instead of changing it.

If you’re ready for fresh leadership, real accountability, and a government that doesn’t revolve around re-election cycles, I’m asking you to stand with me.

✔️ Demand term limits
✔️ Help end career politicians
✔️ Join a movement that’s powered by people, not politicians

Let’s bring a new era of service, not self-preservation, to Washington.
